Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using PetGroom.vip. By accessing or using our Services you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our Services.

1. Definitions

• “Company”, “we”, “us”, “our” means Contentory Limited (trading as PetGroom and PetGroom.vip), registered in Ireland.
• “Platform” means the PetGroom.vip website and all associated services.
• “Owner” means a dog owner or authorised representative who submits a booking request.
• “Groomer” means a professional dog groomer or grooming business listed or matched via the Platform.
• “User” means any Owner, Groomer, or visitor accessing the Platform.
• “Services” means the managed groomer matching, care planning, and booking facilitation services provided by PetGroom.vip.

2. About the Service

PetGroom.vip is a managed matching service. We facilitate introductions between dog owners and professional groomers in the UK and Ireland. We are not a party to the grooming contract itself, which is agreed directly between the Owner and Groomer. We do not guarantee the availability, quality, or outcome of any grooming appointment.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use our Services. By using the Platform you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years old;
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement; and
• You will use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

4. Accounts

You may create an account using your email and password or via an approved social login provider (Facebook or Google). You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials secure and confidential;
• All activity that occurs under your account; and
• Notifying us immediately at hello@petgroom.vip if you suspect unauthorised access.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used for fraudulent purposes.

5. Booking Requests (Owners)

When you submit a booking request through the Platform:

• We will review your request and manually shortlist suitable groomers based on your dog’s breed, location, and requirements.
• We will contact shortlisted groomers on your behalf to check availability and confirm the fit.
• We will communicate the outcome to you, including groomer details and any confirmed appointment.
• The appointment contract (including price, cancellation, and any service guarantee) is between you and the Groomer directly.
• We do not process payments for grooming appointments at this time.

6. Groomer Listings and Applications

If you apply to be listed as a Groomer on PetGroom.vip:

• You confirm that all information you provide is accurate, up to date, and not misleading.
• You confirm that you hold any required licences, insurance, and qualifications to offer grooming services in your jurisdiction.
• You agree to respond to owner enquiries forwarded by PetGroom.vip within a reasonable timeframe.
• We reserve the right to decline or remove any listing at our sole discretion, including if we receive quality or safety concerns.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose;
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information;
• Impersonate any person or entity;
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Platform;
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems;
• Use automated means to access or scrape the Platform without our written consent;
• Post or transmit harmful, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable content;
• Use the Platform to directly circumvent our matching service after an initial introduction.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on PetGroom.vip, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by or licensed to Contentory Limited and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that:

• The Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure;
• Any groomer matched through the Platform will meet your expectations;
• Any information on the Platform is accurate, complete, or current.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Contentory Limited will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform or the Services, or from any grooming appointment arranged through the Platform.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from the use of the Platform shall not exceed €100 (or the equivalent in GBP).

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Contentory Limited and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

12. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

13. Cookies

Our use of cookies is governed by our Cookie Policy.

14. Third-Party Links and Services

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of third-party sites. Accessing those sites is at your own risk.

15. Modifications to the Service and Terms

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Platform or any part of the Services at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or via a prominent notice on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Platform immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property rights, disclaimer of warranties, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

17. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the use of the Platform will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of another jurisdiction apply.

If you are a consumer based in the UK, you may also have rights under UK consumer protection legislation, and disputes may be referred to UK courts where applicable.
